With Apple announcing the future release of OS 3.0 for the iphone, do you plan on first releasing software to jailbreak / unlock firmware 2.2.1 or will you wait to provide a jailbreak / unlock for firmware 3.0?

Jailbird is a new windows jailbreaking application for the iPhone (2G & 3G) and iPod touch. It will be similar in function to WinPwn which died off six months ago.

Pwnage-Tool only runs on the MAC OSX 10.4 and higher. There is no Windows equivolent software yet that jailbreaks, preserves the baseband, resizes the system partition and allows you to create custom firmwares. WinPwn provided this function but can only handle firmwares up to 2.0.2. It has died off as a jailbreaking software about six months ago.
